On the other hand, restorative yoga is a gentle and calming practice that is designed to help you unwind and relax. It focuses on deep breathing, gentle stretches, and supported poses that can help you release physical and mental tension, lower stress, improve your flexibility, and promote better sleep and relaxation.

Reconnect with nature: Spending time in nature on our guided walks has been shown to have numerous mental and physical health benefits. It helps us be more present in the moment and practice mindfulness, which can reduce stress and improve mental health.
Learn new skills: Our Yoga & Wellness retreats offer workshops and classes on topics such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, and mindfulness. These classes will help you learn new skills that you can continue to practice even after the retreat is over.

    The Schedule

    24th to 26th April 2023

    Day 1

    Check in after 16:00
    Relax, take a walk and partake in a welcome drink and sweet treat with your fellow retreat participants

    18:00 – Our first yoga and meditation class (90 minutes)

    19:30 – Dinner – delicious, healthy fare! Followed by arrival introduction chat to the weekend, the schedule and the area

    20:30 – Yoga Nidra (guided deep relaxation) so unwind from your journey and fully arrive into your retreat.

    Day 2

    08:00 – Early morning meditation

    08:30 – Delicious healthy breakfast buffet

    09:30 – Morning walk

    11:00 – Morning Yoga Practice

    12:30 – Lunch – lots of yummy healthy food!

    Free time – Options to visit Lahinch, go to the beach, go surfing, take a tour of the area or stay and relax and enjoy a treatment

    17:30 – Restorative Movement practice – drop in and let go

    19:30 Dinner – more lovely homemade healthy food, followed by a delicious healthy dessert

    Our beautiful glass fronted sauna and Canadian cedar hot tub will be available at all times during your stay

    Day 3

    08:00 – Early morning meditation

    08:30 – Delicious healthy breakfast buffet

    09:30 – Morning walk

    11:00 – Morning Yoga Practice

    12:30 – Celebration Farewell Lunch

    Aoife’s flow classes weave grounding, stabilising and strengthening postures with lightness, buoyancy and ease, focusing on soft subtle awareness and connecting the body to breath. She invites each practice as a moment to drop deeply into the body with deliciously slow, playful sequences.

    Michelle Moroney

    Michelle is a senior yoga teacher, published author, certified Health and Wellness Coach, Wim Hof Method instructor and runs her own successful retreat centre, the Cliffs of Moher Retreat on the West Coast of Ireland. She is passionate about helping people to take ownership of their complete health; body, mind and higher self.
